Wedding Godmother

Principals sponsors are a tradition in Filipino weddings, which can also mean Godparents. Chosen normally by the couple,  a multiple set of pairs; composing of 6 godmothers or ninang, and 6 godfathers or ninong.

Nelia was chosen to be godmother for her niece's wedding. She wanted to stick to the couples wedding theme which was silver and emerald. She loves glitter and rhinestone so we paired her with a slimming corset back gown with rhinestone beading. She went with a Dropped Waist Silver Pleated Sweetheart Neckline A-line style. This color fit her skintone very nicely! The best part is she only needed minor adjustments to her dress and was ready to go.

THE SOLUTION:
  1. Take in bust area -- usually with corset backs, you can just go down a size to fit better but a size small was too small and a size bigger was too big for her. So she decided to stick with her true size and just take in at the bust area
  2. Hem 2 layers of dress
  3. Add bustle -- she loved the back of the dress (the train) so much she didn't want to touch it but was afraid guests would step on her dress, so I suggested adding a bustle and she loved the idea.
