Holiday Party

Holiday parties are becoming more elegant nowadays and you, of course want to impress your colleagues with your sense of style out of your usual work attire. 

Women usually go with the traditional red cocktail dress, or better yet that famous "black dress" but Lulu, who is one of our regular customers wanted something to make her stand out from the crowd. In addition, something fun and flirty that she can wear with confidence throughout the night of dancing and mingling.

She chose a Two-toned Strapless Wide Beaded Empire Waist (Corset Back) Ball Gown, but after discovering that most of the guests will be wearing short dresses, she asked me to cut the dress into a short, flirty dress.

THE SOLUTION:

1. Take in sides (beaded)
2. Remove all layers of tulle
3. Hem dress below the knee 
4. Use inner lining for the shawl
5. Shorten and create a detachable strap
