Wedding Guests Feature!

Assyrian weddings are usually very extravagant, lavish and pretty much a fashion show, so when Rita came in looking for an elegant dress, we paired her with a dress that really hugged her curves. If you got it, why not show it off?

Rita fell in love with a One Shoulder Gold Trimmed Rosette Pleated Fitted Mermaid Gown. She looked stunning in this style dress. However, she decided not to go with the original design of the one shoulder neckline.

THE SOLUTION: - Rita's Dress

  1. Removed single Rosette strand and make into strapless
  2. Take in at the bust for more security
  3. Trim tulle skirt
  4. Hem 3 Layers

Rita also brought in her mom's dress for the wedding purchased from a different store. She needed minor work and I was happy to work on both gowns!

THE SOLUTION:
  1. Take in straps
  2. Hem 2 layers
  3. Tack down pleats
  4. Reinforce bead work

During her final fitting, Rita realized she wanted it hemmed a little more so she is able to walk around without lifting her dress up, and also make sure that her shoes will not show. I haven't gotten a chance to get her final photo yet.
